Winter in Ohio

You know it's winter in Ohio when the first thing your first grader says upon waking up in the morning is, "Is it a snow day?"

And I had to go and break his little heart by telling him, "No, it's a school day."

I'm telling you, his little head burrowed back under the covers so quickly it was Groundhog Day all over again. Ryan saw his shadow - six more weeks of winter.
