The boys were off school yesterday for President's Day. They spent the day hanging out with their grandparents and were treated to a trip to the Lego store, followed by McDonald's for lunch. When I got home from last night I asked Wesley and Ryan how much their grandparents had spoiled them. The boys proudly showed me some new Legos they had gotten that day.
Me: Wow! I hope you said 'thank you' to Grandpa and Grandma!
Ryan: I did. I said it a lot.
Wesley: I said 'thank you' (gives side-eye to Ryan) AND I said it calmly and only one time.
Ryan: Are you saying I'm hyper?
