Duane and I have instituted a "three strikes and you're out" rule with the kids. It has been working pretty well, although better for Wesley than for Ryan.
On the way home from church today Wesley was playing with the iPod Touch and started to get frustrated and lose his temper. We could hear a fit building when Wesley suddenly stopped and said, "Wait a minute. How many strikes do I have?"
I think it's hilarious that he actually took the time to weigh the cost of his fit verses how many strikes it would earn him. Must be working at least a little!

Like the idea and will try it! Of course sometimes, one strike is enough for an out. Like if your kid pees on the dress-up box. Yep, that happened in my house this morning :-/
