A Lesson Learned

"Betcha don't know what I just did!"

They say you learn something new every day.  I don't know who "they" are, but most of the time they are right.  Wesley and Ryan learned something new about our cat Sanders the other day.

I was in the kitchen getting the last bit of prep done so we could leave for the day when the boys ran into the kitchen giggling.

"Mom!" Wesley cried. "Sanders just tooted! Only it wasn't a 'pbbbttttt' kind of toot, it was more of a 'ppphhhww' kind of toot!" Then he and Ryan erupted into giggles again.

When Wesley kind of caught his breath, he sighed, "Wow, I learned something I didn't know today. I didn't know cats could toot."

Some lessons might have been better not learned.
