I did not feel guilty about sending my kids to bed without dinner three nights this past week. That would have been ridiculous since I put healthy dinners down in front of them on those nights and they were the ones that refused to eat.
I have not turned Wesley into a servant by making him change the sheets on his bed if he has an accident during the night.
I did not get postively giddy over the idea of having dinner with two of my girlfriends and their families - especially not since it meant 5 children aged 5 and under at a restaurant.
I did not make Wesley apologize to the hostess at a restaurant after he erased the chalkboard that listed their specials. What kind of mean ol' mom holds her children responsible for their actions?
