Me in my breakfast/lunch/reading spot for the week
We did shake things up a little bit in the afternoon and took the boys on a banana boat ride. It's basically a big, long inflatable raft that gets pulled around by a jet ski.
Three out of four W. family members loved the banana boat. Ryan even let go of the rope and counted on his dad to hold on to him. Wesley hated it. Wesley yelled and whined the entire time, begging the driver to go slower. Wesley is the one who, upon getting off the banana boat and getting his feet back on the beach, very loudly announced "I need a barf bag!" Good times.
After trying Painter's Homemade ice cream - insane lines, but the best ice cream we had at the beach - we headed to Captain Hook's golf course with Grandma and Grandpa H.
One of my favorite pictures of the whole trip
Wesley and Ryan in the smoking skull. You can't really tell, but Wesley is doing his best zombie impersonation
Mini golf or sword fighting?
Really, this was probably one of our most low key days, but it was still just what we needed.
