You know that cheer/chant that you used to hear at football games that went like this:
Cheerleaders: When we say 'Whetstone' you say 'Braves' (or whatever school you were at) Whetstone!
Crowd: Braves!
Cheerleaders: Whetstone!
Crowd: Braves!
The boys heard a version of that cheer on a show they watch and have been driving me up a wall creating their own cheers. Of course, the one that has stuck around has been the mommy cheer. It goes like this:
Wesley & Ryan: When we say "Can I?" you say "no!" Can I?
Mommy: No!
Wesley & Ryan: Can I?
Mommy: No!
It might be funnier to me if it wasn't so darn accurate. But at least they know what I'm going to say. Maybe it means they won't ask me half a dozen times.
