I know I've complained a lot this school year about how pokey Ryan is in the mornings. I guess he likes to keep me on my toes (or else he was REALLY hungry) because the other morning he finished a muffin, a pancake with syrup, a glass of milk and his vitamins before I had finished a single cup of coffee.
"Wow!," I said, looking at his plate. "I'm impressed!"
Ryan wiped his mouth on his napkin, smiled at me and replied, "I know! I bet you thought I was going to burp real big after that and I didn't!"
Guess that does count as impressive if you're a six year old boy.
