Ryan Short Story

Yesterday we took the boys to the Pet Expo with Grandma H. Considering how much Wesley loves animals and how much Ryan has been stalking the cats in his life, we figured this would be a really fun thing for them. However, we neglected to figure in how tired they would be after an overnight with Grandma and Grandpa and that we'd be there around lunch time when they'd be hungry.  So it was pretty much a whine-fest with a few stops to pet animals.

However, I did get one good story out of it.

We went into the cat area and Ryan saw a bunch of Oriental Shorthair cats. In case you aren't familiar with them, they look like this.

Now imagine you are three years old and you see a group of about five of these things looking at you. Ryan looked at them for a moment, turned to me and asked, "Mommy, what is that!?" Guess it looked like no cat he'd ever seen before!
