Ryan has started stalling big-time when it's time to go to bed. One of his favorite stalling techniques is to dole out kisses. The other night he got out of bed and came downstairs because he needed to "give Mommy two little kisses." He kissed my hand twice and went back upstairs - for about 2 minutes!
Last night I ended up going upstairs with him in hopes he'd fall asleep in my bed. Once again he felt compelled to do some kissing before heading to bed. This time Daddy was the lucky recipient - or more accurately, Daddy's big toe was!
As much as I love the kisses, I'd rather Ryan just go to sleep on his own! Maybe it's time to kiss naps goodbye.
